Community Food Action Gathering on April 21st

Toronto Public Health, CAMH, United Way, and FoodShare have collaborated to launch a city wide Mobile Fresh Produce Vending Pilot, and a Community Food Animation Learning Network. Hitting the pavement late spring of 2012, both initiatives provide a creative and direct service approach to improving access to fresh healthy, and affordable food in underserved communities and neighborhoods across the GTA.

Do you live or work in a community with food access challenges? If so, we would like to invite you to come out and shape the future of these two innovative food access initiatives, to better meet the needs of underserved communities across the GTA.

You’re Invited to a Community Food Action Gathering

Location: FoodShare Toronto,
90 Croatia Street (Brock St., entrance)

Come ready to participate, we need and value your advice…

  • How should we shape & design the pilot?
  • What variety produce should we sell?
