You Don’t Want to Miss the Next TFPC Meeting | Feb 12!

After Toronto signed onto the C40 Good Food Cities Declaration in October 2019, the city adopted a food lens to be implemented across all city divisions. But what does this mean for policies, programs and initiatives? Join us at the next Toronto Food Policy Council meeting on February 12 from 2-5pm at 277 Victoria St. in room 502.

Guest speakers Diana Johnson, Health Research Specialist and Jill McDowell, Health Promotion Specialist from Toronto Public Health (TPH) will share the new Toronto Food Strategy work plan and how it fits with Toronto’s recently adopted food lens.

The meeting will also look at how the Toronto Food Policy Council will use the C40 goals, food lens and an equity lens to guide its work throughout the year.
