Higher Rates of Food Insecurity Among People with Diabetes

New research from Ryerson University has found that people living with diabetes have a higher chance of experiencing food insecurity.

Ryerson University nutrition professor Enza Gucciardi and her team have developed a tool that can assist with determining if a patient is experiencing food insecurity.

Professor Gucciardi’s toolkit is available for anyone to use on her website https://enzagucciardi.blog.ryerson.ca/files/2018/08/KT-Toolkit-08_16-3.pdf
