The Department of Sociology invites applications for a tenure-stream appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. The position will commence July 1, 2019. The area of specialization is food justice, food sovereignty and diasporic foodways, bringing an equity lens to the social organization of food production and/or consumption in relation to gendered and racialized divisions of labour, Indigenous resurgence, class inequalities, settler colonial relations, ecological futures, migration processes and other dimension of social inequality.
