100 in 1 Day Toronto 2014

Participate in 100 in 1 Day Toronto on June 7!

Do you have ideas to make your city, neighbourhood or community a better place? Here’s your chance to act. Join a global effort to empower citizens to make positive changes in their own communities.

Evergreen and United Way Toronto are presenting 100 in 1 Day Toronto – a festival celebrating citizen driven action.

Individuals, groups and organizations are invited to develop an intervention, small or big, to showcase how to make Toronto a better city.  Interventions not only help transform the city, but they inspire and engage participants and onlookers alike – fostering a stronger sense of community and positive change.

The TFPC challenge to you is to create an intervention that supports good food initiatives within Toronto. For a list of ideas visit the website.

No act is too small.

Vital Innovation Award

Transformative or scalable interventions for 100 in 1 Day Toronto will be eligible to apply for a Vital Innovation Award of up to $10,000 from the Toronto Community Foundation. (Organizations, collectives and groups will be eligible to apply)

1. Brainstorm ideas
2. You can attend a 100 in 1 Day workshop if you need help
