TYFPC Community Meeting Poster on Re-Contextualizing Immigrant Food Insecurity

Join the Toronto Youth Food Policy Council (TYFPC) in exploring the current and urgent context of immigrant food insecurity in Toronto as well as the diverse solutions that are taking place in the city today. This event will start with a panel discussion of speakers who bring unique insight to community-based solutions to address this issue. Following the panel discussion, we invite everyone to take part in a community dinner and talk in which we weave our own food narratives to re-imagine solutions.

A dinner will be provided, free of charge. However, it is encouraged that you bring your own container to help reduce waste!

The Toronto Youth Food Policy Council is happy to partner with Scadding Court Community Centre to host this event! SCCC is a multi-service agency that was founded in 1978. Located in the heart of Downtown West Toronto, they offer a wide range of programs, services and opportunities for people of all ages and walks of life.
