TFPC featured in a new report about food policy council from Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future

The Center for a Livable Future at Johns Hopkins University has released its annual survey of food policy councils across North America. This year’s report features the work of the Toronto Food Policy Council (starting on page 33).
The TFPC is the oldest food policy council in a major city in the world. When it was established in 1991, there were only three food policy councils globally. Today, the Center for a Livable Future has identified 341 across North America alone!
The survey gives an overview of the state of food policy councils in the United States and Canada, detailing their organizational structure, priorities, relationship to government, community engagement, and more.
